How Does Our Bridal Dressmaking Work?
Step 1. Bridal Dressmaking Consultation
The bridal consultation is a time for you to have a one-on-one with our elite designer.
We go through your chosen design/s and walk you through the endless possibilities that will give you the look that you are envisioning.
For those that don’t have a design in mind this is the perfect opportunity to have a sit down and discuss your options.
Step 2. Design a Sketch
After your consult, our designer will create a sketch of your dress to present it to you.
Having a visual sketch allows you to see the dress and its details and gives you the opportunity to discuss changes with us.
A copy of this sketch will be provided to you at your final collection.
Step 3. Fabric Selection
We have a range of base bridal fabrics to view and feel and we will go through this with you at your subsequent consults.
If you want us to source particular lace fabrics…
we can do that for you too!
Step 4. First Fitting
Your first fitting will be a mock-up of your design. In this fitting you’ll be able to visualise what your dress will look like on you.
During this session we have the opportunity to look at the design come to life, to see whether we need to make changes to the design in order to suit you better if that is what you require.
Step 5. Second Fitting
Your dress is now sewn using your chosen fabrics.
At this fitting we may still have minor changes to make which we can discuss during the appointment.
Step 6. Your Dress Collection Day
On your collection day you will again have the opportunity to try on your custom ‘fit to perfection’ dress.
You’ll receive your:
- Bespoke Dress
- Garment Bag
- Dry-cleaning voucher to use towards your dress
- A personalised, keepsake folder containing a beautiful drawing of your dress and fabric care instructions
